My interests are:  Herbs, Photography, Art, Gardening, Reading, and Writing Science Fiction

I am the youngest in a family of nine. Presently I am employed in Home Care. I have a full time job and also have my own private care clients. My herbal group is herbalxchange on yahoo groups.

Both of my parents were interested in herbs and taught me quite a bit, the rest I have learned on my own. I can identify most plants (weeds to most) that grow in the wild and gather, dry and employ them in many herbal remedies.

My favorite reading material is science based fiction, Fantasy is okay, but I prefer more feasible possibilities, especially anything that concerns the mind. Two of my favorite writers were Heinlein and Asimov. I have written a few short stories and have a couple of novels I am working on.

I majored in art with an emphasis on photography when I attended the university. My minor was math. I have owned a commercial art business where I designed many logos for various companies. I have also produced my own magazine in the past concerning local (Midwest) interests.
